Lessons from the Field
A very important lesson for all of us regarding culture:
It is very, very important for us to be critical of the American culture. We need to make each of the saints
aware there is a disease and it is called political correctness. If while we are testifying to the world the
Gospel and do not tell people they are sinners we have succumbed to and been charmed by the serpent.
We have bought the lie of “Not wanting to offend anyone.” That kind of apathy kills and condemns those who
might be won for Christ straight to Hell. The bad news has got to precede the good news or the good news
will have no meaning. After all, why did He die? It is for us to first thoroughly throw them to the ground and
then tenderly pick them up and take them to the cleft in the rock where there is healing. We must be
absolutely inflexible on the issue of God’s holiness in order to bring people to complete repentance and
confession. Then establish complete closure on that issue and begin to celebrate the freedom. It is over
and done and now they are free to pursue intimacy with God the creator. Those who attempt to get closure
on the past without looking at holiness simply deceive themselves. We are called by God to establish the
Holy standard and to enforce it. We bring great pleasure to God when we refuse to compromise his holy
standard. And we bring exquisite pleasure to God when we are able to bring someone through confession
and repentance to complete freedom.
Romans 12:1 & 2 – I no longer wished to be conformed to the pattern of this world but desire to be
transformed by the renewing of my mind.
A Personal Note ......
Please know I love you and I am doing splendid. As a matter of fact, the food is so healthy I feel stronger. I
rarely eat meat. Today’s lesson in eating was huge. I don’t plan on any more sickness with Jesus as my
counselor.
Of course, I have just scratched the surface of all the blessed events around me but I hit the highlights.
I have come such a long way spiritually and emotionally. I guess physically as well except I need more
exercise. It has been worth the intense times it took to get here and to adjust but with God’s grace I am
coming in line.
Much Love and gratitude for your sustaining prayers, I am experiencing them.
Yours Always in Christ Alone
For as we have many members in one body, and
all members have not the same office: So we,
being many, are one body in Christ, and every
one members one of another. (Romans 12:4-5)
